About Cargobike Culture

Cargobike Culture is a weekly newsletter all about cargobikes. Sometimes I also write thought pieces on issues which impact cargobike users, such as infrastructure and security. Other times I interview cargobike users, and businesses doing interesting things with their cargobike. I also include industry news and interesting things I’ve captured from across the cargobike internet.

Oh, and we’re on Instagram too.

About the author

I’m James and I live in Utrecht, the Netherlands.

We moved here in 2016 and quickly fell in love with cycling and eventually after the birth of our daughter, I fell in love with cargobikes too.

I love our cargobike and everything it can do.

Like carrying a kid and her bike

Or a plant

Or an old dishwasher.

Or a Christmas Tree

Cargobike Culture is a place for me to share my passion for cargobikes with a wider audience.

Paid subscriptions

Cargobike Culture is a free newsletter and always will be. I do also have paid subscriptions available for people who would like to support my work. You can subscribe at either $5 a month, or a discounted annual rate of $50 per year.

At the moment, paid members don’t get any extra content, though I do occasionally run contests to win exciting cargobike paraphernalia. These contests are open to paid members, who’s subscription is active during the month the winner is drawn. The rules and dates for each contest are listed at the bottom of the relevant newsletter.
