Newsletter updates and cargobike festivals
Hello cargobike fans and welcome to Issue 30 of Cargobike Culture.
Firstly, a little housekeeping.
Newsletter schedules
When you start a newsletter, the main piece of advice you hear is to be consistent. Your email should to turn up in peoples inboxes at the same time, every week. Whilst that’s true, unfortunately it’s proving too much for me to manage at the moment, so for the time being CBC is going on a ‘when it’s ready’ schedule. It might turn up every week, or every month. Let’s see how it goes.
Paid subscribers
I’ve paused the paid subscriber option for now. If I can’t commit to you with regular cargobike updates, then it’s not fair that you commit your money to me. The fact that you signed up to support my work at all means so much, so thank you! Take your $5 and buy yourself a delicious cake every month instead.
The International Cargobike Festival
As I write this, day one of this year’s biggest cargobike event just finished and it was great! I even got a go on the Eav in a very feaching Royal Mail livery. It was so much fun to ride.
I’ll have a proper update from the conference next time.
Until then, can you guess what this cargobike is made from? Answers in issue 31!
